I never realized how many friends my father had aquired over the years.  Most people would define him as quiet and reserved, and I think he is to some extent. But there is the fun spirited side of him who loves a good laugh and has terrific one liners. He kept friends from childhood, college, his younger adult years, and today his many church friends. He shows loyalty and compassion in his quiet way, honoring their needs and privacy.
